The DCA Hedge EA V7.67 MT5 employs a sophisticated hedging strategy to maximize your trading potential. Here’s how it works:
- Initial Trade: The EA opens a position in the trend direction identified via Moving Average (MA) cross.
- Hedging Mechanism: A Sell Pending Stop order is placed a few milliseconds after the initial Buy order, with a selected lot multiplier and distance.
- Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL): The TP and SL are reversed for both orders. If the first TP of the Buy is not reached and the price goes down, the Sell Stop becomes active.
- Sequential Orders: If the Sell TP is not reached, a Buy Stop Pending order is placed over the original Buy entry. This ensures that wherever the market moves, you hit SL and TP simultaneously, with TPs always being larger than SLs.
Input Settings
- Autotrade: Enabled by default. The EA opens positions automatically but can be supervised manually.
- Initial Lotsize: 0.01 (recommended for low start lot to allow larger pending orders).
- SL: Should be at least double the value of TP and Distance.
Recommendations
- Account Type: ECN or Raw with very low spreads.
- Brokers: IC Markets with ECN or Raw accounts for the lowest spreads.
